5K Walk, 5K & 10K Run, 10:00 a.m.
Kids’ 1 mile, 9:30 a.m.
The Course Start just outside of the school grounds on the beach. Run along the ocean’s edge from Ecola Creek on the north to Silver Point just south of Cannon Beach and back. As you run south past Haystack Rock and the needles spot the profile in the treetops. For the 10k, make your turn at (3.1miles) Silver Point, and beat feet back, once again passing “the rock” and seeing Tillamook Head in the distance. Leave Terrible Tilly Lighthouse on your left and go up the creek to the finish...now that’s living on the run. The 5k walk/run, starts at the same point and proceeds 1.55 miles down the beach before turning back for a total of 3.1 miles. The 1 mile also starts in the same point going out .5 miles and then returning to the finish.
Registration Early entry fee for the walk/run is $25. Participants will receive a souvenir t-shirt and a lite lunch with the early entry fee. Late registration fee is $30. Extra T-shirts and lunch tickets available for purchase. Mail-in entries must be received by May 20th. Participants may register and pick up race packets the prior evening at the school, located at 268 Beaver St., in Cannon Beach, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Day of race registration will be in the gym at Cannon Beach Elementary School, from 7:30-9:00 a.m. Entry fee is non-refundable.

Finale/Awards Catch your breath with a lite lunch in the Cannon Beach Elementary School gym, just a short walk from the finish. At approximately 11:15 a.m. finish results will be announced and place ribbons awarded. Special awards will be given to first place male and female finishers in the 5k & 10k runs.
Random Drawing: A random drawing for all participants will be held for special prizes donated by local merchants. The “Grand” random prize will be, one night’s deluxe lodging at the beautiful “Inn at Cannon Beach”.

Proceeds The PTO will use the funds raised from this event for Fitness equipment and curriculum, Science curriculum, and possibly health related Book Sets for the classrooms in addition to educational assemblies, field trips and other special activities, including an ongoing after school Fitness Club.

Parking: There is no parking at the school. You may park on the street or in the city parking lots 2 blocks to the south.
